New VT22 owner, need some help
#1
I just picked up a 1970-71 VT22 and am looking for a schematic. Serial number is 094544, so it's a few thousand units after #092000 at the end of 1969 according to https://ampeg.com/support/files/Knowledg...0Ampeg.pdf

CTS speakers are dated 1971.

Almico,

This is the schematic for your amp:

My old VT-22 was this era. I no longer have it unfortunately. amazing amp, but too loud and too large for what I need.

Thanks!! Maybe that drawn in pot is a master volume?

Anyway, it really does sound sweet. I got this amp for its clean tones. There is just something about running a stupidly powerful amp at low volumes. Listening to a home audio system with 100W/ch with the volume on 1 sounds so much better than a 5W amp on 6, even though the dB level is exactly the same. Like a car with 500hp at 50mph feels so much different than a 100hp car at the same speed.
